Lucy

Lucy joined the Northern Oaks team in the fall of 2023 as an intern and kennel assistant. During the spring of 2024 she passed the initial portion of her Certified Veterinary Assistant course and continues to complete the remaining coursework.

Lucy has always had a deep compassion for animals and has rescued countless strays from the streets, even on the day of her interview!. She has been a temporary caregiver to opossums and birds along the way, too. Having ridden horses since she was small, she now volunteers her time at an equine therapeutic riding facility. She also enjoys spending time with her dogs, Skye and Nora, and cats, Luna, Unie, Tres and Juno.
